What a Nightmare!

I decided to make a card today! Well, it didn't turn out so well. I couldn't find the stamp set I wanted, the kids kept interrupting me and things just weren't going as planned. This is the card that I finally ended up with. I love this paper and the lovely little cupcake. I hope everyone is having a great week.

Strawberry Limeade!

Summer is almost here and two of my favorite things are strawberries and lemon/limeade. This color combo was from the Color Challenge at SCS, and the sketch is from Card Patterns. I really enjoy sketches and this sketch with this color combo immediatly made me think of something summery. The dp I used here was from K&Co and the red was from a SU paper pack. The strawberries were clear embossed and cut from the same dp and pop dotted over the ribbon.

The Pink Elephant!

The challenge for today is this fun sketch at The Pink Elephant. I found this adorable Martha Stewart punch and just had to use it today. Thinking of spring means that in Florida the weather starts getting very warm and ice cream is definitly on the list.

I used K &Co dp and puched the flowers using one side for the cone and flipping it to use the other side for the ice cream. I cuttlebugged the bg with the Swiss Dots folder and added some dew drops in the corner.

A Sketch!

The Cuttlebug Spot has a fun sketch for you this week. I took the sketch and turned it into a tag. This awesome tag was cut using my Cricut and I used black ribbon and stitched it . The cute little bird was paper pieced and the flower was also cut out using dp from the same paper pack. The flourishes were also cut using my Cricut.

Wrapped Up Pieces!

Here is a quick card I made for the SCS Color Challenge. I used the All Wrapped Up stamp set by Flourishes, and paper pieced it using Basic Grey DP. I also cut out the ribbon using Old Olive SU cardtock.

The base of the card is made using Papertrey Ink brown and white cardstock, and layering it with Basic Gray DP. I also used my sewing machine to stitch around it.

The to panel was made using my large rectangle Nestabilites and large rectangles, cutting the scalloped recatangle from Old Olive SU cardstock and the large rectangle from PI White Cardstock. I layered the white on brown and trimmed it to add a little more dimension to the layer.

I also added some ribbon and pearls.

Todays card is for the CPS sketch challenge. I found this paper and thought it was so pretty and decided to pull it out for this challenge. I love these colors together and this cupcake stamp is from Verve and is just so elegant looking so I wanted to put it with something more elegant. All the dp in this card is from the 6x6 Sabrina paper pack, and gem stickers are also Sabrina. I used a circle nestabilities to guide me when I added the pink gems around the cupcake.
