A Sketch!

The Cuttlebug Spot has a fun sketch for you this week. I took the sketch and turned it into a tag. This awesome tag was cut using my Cricut and I used black ribbon and stitched it . The cute little bird was paper pieced and the flower was also cut out using dp from the same paper pack. The flourishes were also cut using my Cricut.

Thanks so much for joining us at The Cuttlebug Spot.

Pink Elephant Challenge #6 BUTTONS!

Yep, you heard right ~ BUTTONS! Buttons are always fun, we can use them on almost anything, they can be plain and they can be fancy.

The challenge at The Pink Elephant this week is to use buttons. I love buttons and so that made this challenge even more fun.

The base of the card was made using Pumpkin Pie and I layered that using some dp. The scallop is from the Cricut. I layered three kinds of ribbon and added the buttons, and yes the pretty bauble on the bow is actually a button that I found in a sewing kit from many years ago. I love this button, and the sticker is from K&Co.

Also, there is a lot of fun planned at The Pink Elephant coming up soon. Please watch for all the exciting games and giveaways coming up. I will also be posting some blog candy soon so remember to keep checking back for more updates.

Happy Birthday!

I made this card for the 2Sketches4You sketch. I am not sure if I really like it but wanted to put it on anyway. The paper is from Papertrey Ink, and the chipboard is Company K. THis is a fun girly birthday card. The tags were cut using the Cricut George Cartridge.
