Pink Elephant Challenge #5

The challenge at TPE this week is to use Pink, Green and Brown. These are great colors to put together, and I had lots of fun making this card. I couldn't resist using cardboard on this card. I have seen it on a few cards recently and just love the effect and the texture it adds.

The frame around the verse is actually made using nestabilites. The large oval was cut using the large oval nestabilitie then I embossed around it using the large oval to create a frame effect. I used a smaller oval for the verse and cut around it on Kraft paper to help it stand out a little more, then added some rhinestones.

I also used lots of paper piercing on the top of the card and added a small flower I cut out using my Cricut, layered on top of that with a K&Co. sticker. The leaves are cut out using a Martha Stewart punch.

Angela,
I am so behind in commenting this week, but wanted to drop by and make sure you knew that I loved your card for TPE. I really need to use some corrugated cardboard in my cards. Amazing how beautiful you made it look!
