Masculine Birthday!

My husband and my oldest sons birthdays are on the 27th of this month and I need to make cards for them. I made this card for my husband.

This card was made using Papertrey Inks Cardstock that I received yesterday. I was so excited when I won a years supply of cardstock from Papertrey Ink on their Anniversary Giveaways, and when the UPS man came yesterday and left me a box full of paper I just knew that I had to use it today.

I love this color combo, and I also love this stamp set that I won from CPS. This stamp set is by Our Daily Bread. The DP on this card was from Basic Gray.

The sketch I used was from 2 Sketches 4 You. I rounded the corners of the card and layered Black cardstock and Kraft cardstock. I also cut out the top part of the lighthouse from white cardstock and sponged it using River Rock Ink from Su. The key I purchased from JoAnn for 40% off.

Card Details:
Cardtock: Black, White, Kraft
DP: Basic Gray
Accessories: Ribbon (Basic), Keys (JoAnn Essentials), Snaps
Stamps: Keep My Lamp Burning (Our Daily Bread)

this is one of the most fabulous "boy" cards I have seen in a while Angela - did I read this right that you have 3 men in your life celebrating their birthdays on the same day? wow! and how fun. This is really a fantastic take on the sketch. Thanks for playing
